Salary: £44,000 - £65,000 (£30,000 - £45,000 base + potential performance related commission of £14,000 - £20,000).
About the role:
Q Assure Build Ltd is a Structural Defects Warranty provider for new build, refurbishment and conversion developments which puts quality build and customer service first. We help developers and builders identify issues early so they don't become problems for customers. We are flexible and solution-focused, understanding that every site and build presents its own challenges.
Responsibilities:
- New Business Building: Prospecting new opportunities, driving new business income, following up all sales leads and maintaining sales momentum, taking responsibility for direct sales to client throughout the sales process.
- Brand Ambassador: Representing Q and associated companies as a key client contact across the country and acting as a key ambassador for all Q and associated company services.
- Target Smashing: Responsible for your own monthly & quarterly targets, with open-ended commission earning opportunity, self-motivated to meet and exceed targets and key KPIs.
- Regulating Success: Recording all activities on the Company CRM system in compliance with FCA Regulations, maintaining accurate and well-organised electronic filing systems.
- Building Relationships: Developing relationships to promote client loyalty and ensure repeat business, liaising regularly with clients to gather new project information, follow up on pricing and secure new deals.
- Supporting the Team: Working with other teams in the company to deliver first-class service to clients, and supporting the Sales Director in reporting and forecasting activities.
Experience & Qualifications:
We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record in office or call-centre based sales, able to build a client portfolio from the ground up. Ideally you have at least a Higher/A-Level in English and Maths (not compulsory). Holding the CII – Foundation in Insurance award is an advantage but can be worked towards in the role.
Communication Abilities:
Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to converse confidently with senior people in a commercial environment. A calm telephone manner, and the ability to handle difficult or sensitive situations with diplomacy and tact are essential.
Attitude & Approach:
Ambitious, target-driven, enthusiastic and self-motivated with a flexible attitude and a general commitment to getting the job done. Able to work independently and unsupervised but also enjoy collaborating with the wider team and interacting with your line manager regularly. Exceptionally well-organised, prioritising workload, and able to multi-task.
IT & Professional Skills:
Highly IT literate and competent, experienced user of general Microsoft Office software, mobile phone software, general operating systems, Sales CRM and VOIP Telephony Systems. Business-appropriate appearance, discreet nature, common-sense approach to business and client requirements, and the ability to quickly and accurately read situations.
