Insurance Broker Support Consultant - Remote Working

About The Role

Fantastic opportunity to work on a fully remote basis for someone from an insurance broking or underwriting environment who wants to step up to a Relationship role.

Responsibilities

  • Provide broker support to prospective brokers going through onboarding and to brokers who are already members of the network, within their given territory or as allocated.
  • You will be the first response unit for all new and existing businesses who require assistance with onboarding, training, and Insurer support.
  • Ensure that broker queries and requests are answered quickly and professionally with a focus on customer service and satisfaction.
  • Own and manage brokers allocated to you with a can-do approach to day-to-day queries, resolving or escalating internally as needed.
  • Be responsible for retaining a panel of brokers and updating internal systems with relevant activity.
  • Arrange regular meetings with allocated brokers (virtually, by telephone, or in person if travel warranted).
  • Support the broker as a go-to contact for a wide range of queries, acting as a critical friend to the broker.

Qualifications

  • Completion of or working towards Cert CII
  • Computer literate (MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint)
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in broking/insurer environment, or in a customer-driven environment
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Knowledge of Acturis, broking and insurer processes
  • Personal and Commercial Lines experience/knowledge
  • Technical experience of broking for all product lines with strong customer focus
  • Strong administration skills and attention to detail
  • Strong self-discipline to work from home and seek support when required
  • Ideal but willingness to train/build Insurance expertise/commence Cert CII accreditation
