The Role

We have bold brands and bold leaders, here at PZ Cussons. As a Global Brand Manager, you will join a team of marketers that live and breathe this ethos, pioneering our brands in the marketplace and striving to provide a best-in-class consumer offering at all times.

As a Global Brand Manager, you will be a passionate and proactive individual with a winner’s mindset. You’ll be a great storyteller with the ability to excite and inspire internal market teams as well as external partners and retailers with gravitas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Global Strategy: Evolve and execute a winning, distinctive brand proposition based on consumer, customer and market insights.
  • Assist in creation and deployment of a global channel strategy for markets to build upon and execute, identifying white space and what is needed to unlock commercial growth
  • Brand Health & Identity: Working as the internal brand guardian ensure all our activation toolkits deliver on the principles of the brand; brand visual identity, brand tone of voice, distinctive assets & primary messages.
  • Evolve the tone of voice in line with audience insights and market trends ensuring that we are relevant and modernised in our approach to the consumer
  • Social, PR & Community Strategy: Lead our Owned media channels and the organic posting and community involvement strategy.
  • Campaign Development & Market Deployment: Lead the campaign development of key marketing assets for each season and activation strategies by category for USA/UK/EMEA/ANZ which inspire market teams and retailers alike.
  • Budget Management: Manage the global budget tracker to ensure delivery of strategic projects on time and to budget, negotiating with agencies and utilising synergies across PZ and St.Tropez where possible.
  • Team Management: This role will have 1 report of an Assistant Brand Manager based in Manchester.

Skills And Experience

  • University Degree or Equivalent Experience in field
  • Relevant marketing experience working on campaign development and execution
  • Strong experience in agency management
  • Experience of brand planning cycle
  • Strong Communicator/Influencer – Both peer group & senior team & split location teams
  • Demonstrable campaign and creative experience

  • Experience in corporate and personal use of social media platforms including but not limited to Instagram, TikTok
