About the Role:
We’re recruiting on behalf of a global manufacturing organisation seeking a Senior Strategic Sourcing Analyst to join its international sourcing function. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sourcing, procurement, or supply chain professional looking to take the next step in their career within a highly visible, globally connected role. Working closely with stakeholders across Europe, Asia, and North America, you’ll play a key role in developing supplier partnerships, supporting sourcing strategy, and delivering commercial value across a range of manufacturing categories. The role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, making it ideal for someone who enjoys building supplier relationships, leading negotiations, and driving continuous improvement within a complex manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships across multiple international regions
- Support strategic sourcing initiatives and supplier selection activities
- Lead supplier negotiations to achieve commercially beneficial outcomes
- Identify opportunities to improve cost, quality, service, and supply chain performance
- Support supplier onboarding, qualification, and performance management processes
- Collaborate closely with manufacturing, engineering, quality, and operational teams
- Analyse sourcing data and supplier performance metrics to support decision-making
- Work with global stakeholders to align sourcing strategies and objectives
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the sourcing function
- Support the development and execution of category sourcing strategies
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience within sourcing, procurement, or supply chain roles
- Previous experience operating within a manufacturing environment
- Strong supplier negotiation and relationship management skills
- Experience supporting supplier onboarding and supplier performance activities
- Excellent organisational and project management capabilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working independently
- Experience operating within a global or matrix-led organisation would be advantageous
Experience within aerospace, industrial manufacturing, engineered products, or other technical manufacturing sectors would be beneficial but is not essential.
