We are supporting a leading professional services organisation in the search for a Client Development Manager to join its established Business Development & Marketing function.
This is a highly visible role focused on strengthening strategic client relationships, driving client engagement initiatives, and supporting the growth of key client accounts across the business.
Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will play a key role in developing client strategies, managing account plans, gathering valuable client insight, and identifying opportunities to deepen relationships and generate new business. You will also support client listening programmes, relationship development initiatives, and the delivery of client excellence best practice across the organisation.
- Support the development and execution of strategic client account plans
- Coordinate client development meetings, relationship reviews, and account planning sessions
- Produce and maintain client development tools including account plans, relationship maps, client reports, and management information
- Support client listening programmes, gathering and analysing client feedback to drive improvements and strengthen relationships
- Conduct client, market, and competitor research to support account growth strategies
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and support client-facing engagement initiatives
- Assist with the delivery of client events, workshops, and relationship development projects
- Support the implementation of client excellence initiatives and relationship management best practices
- Deliver training and guidance to internal stakeholders on client development tools and processes
- Collaborate closely with Business Development, Marketing, and New Business teams to align client and growth strategies
We are looking for an experienced client relationship professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional client experiences and building long-term strategic relationships.
- Previous experience within Client Relationship Management, Client Development, Key Account Management, or Business Development
- Experience gained within a professional services environment such as legal, financial services, consultancy, or accountancy
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify business growth opportunities
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience using CRM systems and client management platforms
- Strong reporting, data analysis, and presentation skills
- Experience producing client plans, account reviews, and management information
- Market research and competitor analysis experience
