We are delighted to be recruiting for a Business Development Manager on behalf of a specialist manufacturer and global supplier of high-performance metals. The business receives a regular flow of inbound enquiries and holds established relationships across the UK and internationally. Your focus will be to qualify and develop those opportunities into long-term commercial partnerships, while also identifying new business across key sectors and markets.
With exposure to projects in aerospace, defence, oil & gas, and advanced manufacturing, you’ll play a key role in developing the commercial strategy, working closely with internal teams and travelling nationally and overseas as required.
- Represent the business in client meetings, site visits, industry events and exhibitions – across the UK, Europe, and globally.
- Identify new business opportunities and support strategic growth across priority markets.
- Monitor market activity and competitor trends to inform commercial strategy.
- Contribute to wider business development planning with the opportunity to progress into a leadership role over time.
Proven experience in business development, account management, or technical sales, ideally within the metals, manufacturing, or engineering sectors. Strong commercial acumen with a consultative sales approach. Ambitious, adaptable, and motivated by long-term growth – both professionally and personally. Willing and able to travel across the UK and internationally as required.
