About the Role:
We’re recruiting for a Senior Partnership Sales Manager to join a major UK sports and entertainment organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to shape high-value commercial partnerships for one of the country’s most dynamic and high-profile sporting teams. You will play a key role in driving partnership revenue, creating compelling commercial propositions, and building relationships with major brands across a wide range of sectors. Working closely with senior leaders and internal stakeholders, you’ll manage the full sales cycle — from prospecting and pitching through to negotiation and closing long-term deals. This role is ideal for a commercially-minded partnership specialist with experience in sport, sponsorship, rights holders or media environments, and who enjoys working at pace within a high-energy commercial function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partnership Sales Strategy
- Lead the end-to-end partnership sales process, from initial outreach to closing major commercial agreements
- Build strategic sales plans to deliver ambitious revenue targets
- Stay informed on market and category trends within the sponsorship landscape
- Creative Proposition Development
- Develop tailored, insight-led partnership packages that deliver value for both the organisation and the brand
- Collaborate internally to ensure proposals align with team identity, audience insights and commercial priorities
- Create engaging pitch materials that tell a compelling brand story
- Lead Generation & Pipeline Management
- Identify, research and qualify new partnership prospects across multiple industries
- Maintain a structured pipeline with clear activity tracking and revenue forecasting
- Use competitive insights to create urgency and maximise opportunities
- External Engagement & Pitching
- Lead high-impact meetings with senior stakeholders, brands and agencies
- Deliver confident, persuasive presentations tailored to each prospect
- Produce clear, compelling proposals aligned with commercial objectives
- Reporting & Internal Collaboration
- Provide clear and consistent reporting on sales activity, pipeline performance and deal progress
- Work closely with colleagues across Marketing, Communications, Ticketing and Operations
- Present updates and insights to senior leadership and wider commercial teams

- Proven track record in partnership or sponsorship sales within sport, entertainment, media, rights holders or agency environments
- Strong commercial acumen with experience closing high-value deals
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and confidence engaging with C-suite decision-makers
- Skilled in building pipelines, generating leads and managing complex negotiations
- Creative thinker with the ability to develop compelling partnership propositions
