About the Role: We’re recruiting for a General Manager to join a high-end, modern dining restaurant located in one of Birmingham’s most prestigious destinations. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced hospitality leader to take full ownership of day-to-day operations, team performance, and the overall guest experience. You will play a key role in maintaining exceptional standards while driving the commercial success and reputation of the restaurant. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring an exceptional guest experience
- Maintain high standards across food quality, service delivery, cleanliness, and overall hospitality
- Oversee stock control, supplier relationships, and ordering processes
- Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations
- Manage and develop the full restaurant team including supervisors, servers, bartenders, and chefs
- Recruit, train, and mentor staff while fostering a positive and professional team culture
- Lead from the front on the restaurant floor, setting the standard for service excellence
- Monitor business performance including sales, labour costs, and operational efficiency
