About the Role:

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing business in the roofing and construction materials sector. As part of a strategic national expansion, they are seeking multiple Territory Sales Managers to take ownership of regional territories and drive commercial success across a high-performing product portfolio.

This is a field-based sales role with real autonomy, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, relationship-led environment and has experience selling into the trade. You will work closely with merchants, contractors, and specifiers to secure product placement, build long-term relationships, and grow your region through high-impact sales activity. This is a role with uncapped earnings, long-term career progression, and the opportunity to join a business known for quality, service, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a territory sales plan to maximise growth across merchant and contractor networks
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities across independent and national merchants, buying groups, and installers
  • Build strong relationships with branch managers, counter staff, and trade customers to drive product visibility and demand
  • Work with specifiers, architects, and local authorities to secure product placement on commercial and residential projects
  • Conduct site visits, technical demos, and CPD presentations where needed to support specification and usage
  • Support merchant activation through in-branch training, product mornings, and promotional campaigns
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, tracking project opportunities from early-stage through to fulfilment
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless order fulfilment and customer satisfaction
  • Gather market intelligence and competitor insight to inform regional strategy
  • Champion sustainable and innovative solutions within your market

Candidate Profile:

  • Proven success in a field-based sales role – ideally in construction, roofing, or building materials
  • Experience selling to merchants, contractors, or both
  • Results-driven, commercially minded, and confident working to volume and revenue targets
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills across all levels
  • Self-motivated and able to manage your own diary, travel, and workload
  • Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel within your assigned territory

We welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds and experiences. If you have the drive and commercial acumen to succeed in a fast-moving sales environment, we would love to hear from you.
