We are supporting a leading professional services organisation undergoing a major digital transformation, seeking an experienced SAP Service Delivery Manager to lead the operational stability, optimisation, and ongoing evolution of a complex SAP S/4HANA environment.

This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality day-to-day SAP service delivery, managing incident and change demand, overseeing enhancements, and supporting strategic transformation initiatives, including readiness for SAP RISE.

You will lead a team of SAP analysts and developers, driving performance, accountability, and continuous improvement across the SAP estate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and manage a team of SAP specialists across BAU support and project delivery.
  • Allocate resources across support activities, enhancements, audits, and transformation workstreams.
  • Own end-to-end SAP S/4HANA service availability, performance, and operational stability.
  • Oversee month-end, year-end, and other critical business cycle support activities.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors including AMS providers, hosting partners, and auditors.
  • Ensure robust technical documentation across SAP landscapes, integrations, and support processes.
  • Prioritise and govern configuration changes, enhancements, fixes, and transport management.
  • Manage change and release processes in line with CAB governance procedures.
  • Support system health management, including upgrades, patching, performance tuning, and optimisation.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration across Finance, HR, Materials Management, Integration, and Basis teams.
Candidate Profile

We are looking for an experienced SAP leader who thrives in complex, regulated environments and can balance operational excellence with strategic delivery.

  • Proven experience managing SAP teams within enterprise-scale environments.
  • Strong operational understanding of SAP S/4HANA (on-premise).
  • Experience supporting SAP FICO and HCM modules.
  • Background working within high-availability, audit-focused environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and team development skills.
  • Ability to prioritise effectively across competing business and technical demands.
