We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Purchasing & Production Assistant to support our production scheduling and stock management functions. This role plays a key part in ensuring materials, consumables, and stillages are effectively controlled while providing vital administrative and scheduling support to keep production running smoothly.
Your Tasks:
- Manage and maintain consumable stock levels to ensure continuous production support.
- Oversee stock control and purchasing of stillages, ensuring adequate supply and timely replenishment.
- Assist the Production Scheduler with daily and weekly operational tasks, including remakes, production reports, and batch note preparation.
- Provide cover for the Production Scheduler during periods of absence to maintain workflow continuity.
- Help maintain accurate clock card records and ensure timekeeping data is up to date.
- You may be expected to undertake extra tasks dependent on workload.
Your Profile:
- Minimum 3 years experience in planning and/or scheduling roles.
- 3 years administration experience.
- Manufacturing background is highly advantageous.
- Strong IT competency, including MS Office (Word & Excel), Sage Line 500, CRM Systems.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
