Your Tasks
- The SHEQ team is responsible for health and safety, environment and quality within the business, along with all other aspects of compliance, such as our ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and glass-specific certifications.
- Reporting to the SHEQ Manager, you will be based out of our head office in Oldbury with occasional overnight travel to our other branches.
- You will have opportunities to work across all areas of the department’s mandate, with training and support where needed.
- You will conduct internal audits and supervise external audits, complete incident investigations, support customer enquiries, engage with staff across the business to promote standards and culture and provide advice, and much more.
Your Profile
- The ideal candidate will have some or all of the following:
- Prior experience with health & safety, quality and/or environmental management.
- Prior experience within the glass and glazing industry.
- Any relevant qualifications (NEBOSH, ISO 9001/14001 auditing, etc).
- Prior experience with internal and/or external audits.
- Good computer literacy. (Essential)
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
