Your Tasks
- Prepare and sort documents/data sheets for the purpose of data entry.
- Establish entry priorities by maintaining understanding of what data needs to be entered first.
- Ensure the data recorded is entered onto the specific database completely and accurately.
- Verify completed work for accuracy and make any required changes immediately.
- Maintain adequate records, keeping an up-to-date filing system.
- Operate a variety of standard office machines, including PC, a variety of computer software including Microsoft Office, phone, fax and photocopying machine.
- Communicate verbally and in writing with customers/suppliers and relevant staff as necessary.
- Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential at all times.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Send standard emails and reports.
- Answer, resolve and direct customer and internal calls to relevant department.
- Assist the team in sales calls and quotation follow-ups.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors and customers.
- Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the role.
- Undertake any other duties commensurate with the role as and when required.

Experience and Qualifications
No formal experience or qualifications are needed for this role although a good standard of general education is required and GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths. Experience in general office administration is also desirable but not essential as there will be an opportunity to ‘train on the job’ through an apprenticeship.
