Temporary position
A Multi‑skilled maintenance engineer who is qualified in an electrical and/or mechanical discipline (mechanical bias). They have experience in maintaining complex electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems. The role consists of both preventative and reactive maintenance.
Your Tasks
- Effectively plan and carry out preventative maintenance procedures within the framework, ensuring all equipment is safe to run and is cleaned to the highest possible standard. Preventative maintenance is the main driver for this role.
- Keep equipment downtime to an absolute minimum through timely and thoughtful fault diagnosis and rectification.
- Maintain engineering stock control, completing regular audits, and ensure all engineering tools are well maintained – correctly stored and kept clean to the highest of engineering standards.
- Manage all engineering consumables to ensure all are adequately supplied and stored in the appropriate and safe storages.
- Health and safety will be your highest priority at all times.
- Contribute towards continuous improvement and development projects.
- Be responsible for delivering KPI targets set by the Operations and Engineering Managers.
- Effectively upkeep and maintain site facilities.
Your Profile
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment.
