As a Senior Finance Business Partner, you are the financial point of contact for the Pyroguard business segment and the UK shared service center.

You will ensure both operational finance excellence and strategic commercial support.

You are responsible for the full finance business partnering scope — from planning, reporting, and pricing to stakeholder management, investment appraisal, and business transformation.

  • Your Tasks
  • Ownership of Finance Fundamentals
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closings in cooperation with SSC and local teams
  • Lead the budget and forecasting processes including templates, coordination, and consolidation
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and availability across reporting tools and dashboards
  • Review and analyse pricing, profitability, and working capital metrics; ensure governance and control
  • Monitor and elevate critical AR situations and collaborate with sales and credit management
  • Track investment requests, ensure policy compliance, and review ROI and payback metrics
  • Ensure compliance with group policies and internal controls; support audits and documentation
  • Management of the Shared Service Center in conjunction with Team Leader for UK accounting and the Senior Credit Controller.
  • Advanced Business Partnering
  • Co-pilot commercial decisions, such as pricing strategies, tenders, and investment initiatives
  • Interpret forecasts and performance KPIs to derive actions; drive strategic scenario planning
  • Translate financial insights into actionable proposals for commercial and operational stakeholders
  • Partner with logistics, procurement, and sales to drive cash flow and working capital improvements
  • Represent finance in M&A integrations; lead financial alignment and synergy realisation
  • Translate private equity expectations into operational plans and clear performance narratives
  • Take ownership for implementing governance improvements and a culture of ethical accountability
  • Lead, mentor and coach your team, talents and other finance staff; develop a strong business partnering mindset across the team

Your Profile

  • Degree in Finance, Controlling, Business Administration or related field; ACA, CIMA or ACCArequired
  • At least 8 years of post-graduate/professionalworking relevant experience
  • Relevant track-record in anaccounting, finance business partner, controlling or FP&A role
  • Demonstrable success inmanaging projects
  • Experience in managing &developing a strong team
  • Strong financial modelingand analysis skills; ability to link data to operational decisions
  • Track record of workingclosely with commercial or operational teams to drive business impact
  • Comfortable operating acrossmultiple entities/companies/sites, stakeholders, and geographies
  • Experience in privateequity-backed organizations or performance-driven environments is a plus
  • Hands-on and self-drivenpersonality with a sense of ownership and accountability
  • Excellent communicationskills — able to translate financials for non-finance stakeholders
  • Resilient & curiousmindset
  • Fluent in English; French is a plus
