Our client requires, due to growth, an experienced Fabricator Welder to join their well-established business of over 20 years. The business specialises in the design, manufacture, and installation of bespoke automated gates and access solutions. This is a varied role combining workshop fabrication with on-site installation work across residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabrication and assembly of automated gates and access systems
  • Manufacturing of:
  • Handrails
  • Balustrades
  • Staircases
  • Cat ladders
  • Secondary steelwork
  • Supporting installation teams on-site when required
  • Carrying out on-site MMA (stick) welding
  • Working from engineering drawings to produce high-quality bespoke products
  • Ensuring all work meets required safety and quality standards
  • Essential Requirements:

    • Proven experience as a Fabricator Welder
    • Valid CSCS card
    • Full UK driving licence (essential for site work)
    • Ability to work both independently and within a team

    Desirable (but not essential):

    • Previous experience as a coded welder
    • Knowledge of BS EN 1090 standards
    • Experience within the gate automation or access control sector
