Our client requires, due to growth, an experienced Fabricator Welder to join their well-established business of over 20 years. The business specialises in the design, manufacture, and installation of bespoke automated gates and access solutions. This is a varied role combining workshop fabrication with on-site installation work across residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabrication and assembly of automated gates and access systems
- Manufacturing of:
- Handrails
- Balustrades
- Staircases
- Cat ladders
- Secondary steelwork
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fabricator Welder
- Valid CSCS card
- Full UK driving licence (essential for site work)
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
Desirable (but not essential):
- Previous experience as a coded welder
- Knowledge of BS EN 1090 standards
- Experience within the gate automation or access control sector
