Our Client is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts / Finance Assistant to join a fast-paced friendly family run business in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is AAT Level 3 qualified (or equivalent) and looking to develop their career within a supportive and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing purchase and sales invoices accurately and efficiently
- Managing supplier statements and reconciling accounts
- Assisting with bank reconciliations and month-end procedures
- Preparing and posting journals
- Supporting credit control and accounts payable functions
- Maintaining accurate financial records and spreadsheets
- Assisting the Finance Manager with ad-hoc finance tasks and reporting
- Working multi-currency and experienced in Dollars / Pounds and Euros
- Experienced in Exports
About You:
- AAT Level 3 qualified (or actively studying)
- Use of SAGE
- Previous experience in an accounts or finance assistant role
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Good working knowledge of Excel and accounting software
- Well organised with the ability to meet deadlines
- A positive, team-oriented attitude with good communication skills
