Our client is a well-established charity with a great reputation. They require a HR Manager to lead the day-to-day management of the human resources function, which includes:

  • Recruitment
  • Retention
  • Performance of the team

The role also involves advising managers and employees on HR policies and procedures, handling disciplinary and grievance issues, and liaising with finance on pensions. This is a HR generalist role that oversees learning and development and employee relations. Contribution to the development of their HR strategy is also required, as well as ensuring that the organisation has up-to-date policies and procedures that comply with legislation.

This HR role requires previous HR manager experience, and it is preferred to have a qualification to support HR. The holiday entitlement is very generous, as is the pension contribution. This position requires 30 hours of work per week with some flexibility and occasional working from home. The pro-rata salary for this position is £32,629.
