Overview
Are you an experienced HGV Driver looking to work in a fast growing organisation? We’re seeking a reliable and motivated driver to join a friendly organisation, helping us deliver a safe, efficient, and high-quality service to a number of clients. Reporting to our supportive Transport Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the safe transport of goods while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and customer service.
What you’ll be doing
- Carrying out deliveries accurately, safely, and on time
- Completing all required documentation in line with company and legal standards
- Attending training to stay fully equipped and contributing to continuous improvement
- Reporting any accidents, incidents, or equipment damage promptly
- Maintaining excellent service levels, ensuring a first-class experience for customers
- Ensuring vehicle security and safeguarding goods at all times
- Promoting Unimetals positively with colleagues, customers, and partners
- Conducting daily vehicle safety checks and taking corrective action where needed
- Reporting any non-conformances and supporting resolution
- Complying with all transport procedures and legislation
What we’re looking for

Qualifications & Experience
- HGV Licence – Class 2 or above (essential)
- Solid logistical and geographical knowledge
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card & Driver CPC
