Overview

Are you an experienced HGV Driver looking to work in a fast growing organisation? We’re seeking a reliable and motivated driver to join a friendly organisation, helping us deliver a safe, efficient, and high-quality service to a number of clients. Reporting to our supportive Transport Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the safe transport of goods while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and customer service.

What you’ll be doing

  • Carrying out deliveries accurately, safely, and on time
  • Completing all required documentation in line with company and legal standards
  • Attending training to stay fully equipped and contributing to continuous improvement
  • Reporting any accidents, incidents, or equipment damage promptly
  • Maintaining excellent service levels, ensuring a first-class experience for customers
  • Ensuring vehicle security and safeguarding goods at all times
  • Promoting Unimetals positively with colleagues, customers, and partners
  • Conducting daily vehicle safety checks and taking corrective action where needed
  • Reporting any non-conformances and supporting resolution
  • Complying with all transport procedures and legislation

Qualifications & Experience

  • HGV Licence – Class 2 or above (essential)
