Pyramid8 Recruitment are recruiting for a full time permanent Graphic & Signage Installation Team Leader for our client based in Wakefield. Products range from building wraps and illuminated signage, to retail displays and props.
Responsibilities of the installation operative include:
- To manage & action installations at client sites
- To manage & action site surveys at client sites
- Application of different substrates and display items; include the installation of window graphics and props.
- The application of all types of vinyl specifications to a variety of surfaces, both internally and externally
- Supervise work undertaken by a team of installation operatives, ensuring their work is completed on time and to the required standard.
- Support production with print finishing duties & 2D & 3D assembly
- Ensuring that quality control systems are adhered to and that required quality standards are met.
As you will be working directly with clients on site, you will have excellent communication skills, be well presented with a professional, positive approach to all aspects of the role. You will have experience and a wide knowledge of all the above, particularly within the retail sector.
You may also have certificates or training in the following: CSCS, PASMA, IPAF, Asbestos Awareness training, working at height.
You will also be asked to get involved in the work of other departments, so you need to be adaptable and willing and able to learn new skills.
You will be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
- Full driver's license (ideally clean)
- Ability to analyse and interpret information and follow written instructions & diagrammatic's accurately.
- Ability to problem solve and think on your feet.
- Good interpersonal skills and great team working ability.
- Good eye for detail.
- Reliable with a flexible approach to work.

You will be based at our production and head office facility at Ossett which is located just off junction 40 of the M1. Your normal workdays will be Mon-Fri. Your work hours will fall between 6:00am and 10:00pm subject to the shift you are allocated to, plus you will be required to work overtime, including nightshifts and weekends when the business requires. This role also requires regular overnight stays away from home.
