We are seeking a qualified and customer-focused Certified Gas Engineer to join a busy and professional technical services team. This is to work for a great organisation who reward employees with excellent benefits. The role is Monday to Friday 8-4 only. Travel time is within the 37 hour week. 38 days holiday annually, plus excellent sick pay, 6 months full pay and 3 months of half pay thereafter and excellent pension scheme plus other benefits. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship, exceptional customer service, and first-time fixes across a varied portfolio of domestic properties.

The Role

  • Service, repair and maintain domestic gas appliances and central heating systems.
  • Install and commission domestic gas appliances and heating systems.
  • Carry out fault finding and diagnostics on heating systems and gas equipment.
  • Complete Landlord Gas Safety Records accurately and in line with industry regulations.
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with Gas Safety Regulations, industry standards and manufacturer instructions.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with residents and stakeholders.
  • Accurately record work undertaken using IT systems and mobile technology.
  • Manage van stock and ensure company equipment is maintained and used safely.
  • Support a range of maintenance and installation projects as required.

About You

  • Certified Gas Engineer with current ACS Gas Qualifications (essential).
  • Proven experience servicing, repairing and installing domestic gas appliances and heating systems.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Good understanding of current Gas Safety and Health & Safety legislation.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
