We are looking for an experienced FLT Counterbalance Operative to join a busy manufacturing and distribution environment.
This is a varied, hands-on role involving the safe movement of products and materials, along with supporting the preparation and packaging of goods ready for dispatch.
Key responsibilities:
- Operating a Counterbalance FLT to move and position products and materials
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely
- Preparing products for dispatch
- Strapping and securing packaged goods
- Cutting and preparing packaging materials
- Carrying out general warehouse and yard duties
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working environment
- Working as part of a busy team to meet daily production and dispatch requirements
About you:
- Valid Counterbalance FLT licence essential
- Previous FLT/warehouse or manufacturing experience (in house licence will be considered/expired)
- Comfortable working outdoors when required
- Happy to be in a hands-on role
- Reliable, safety-conscious and able to work as part of a team
- Good attention to detail
