This great organisation has an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to work in the field and to join their dynamic team covering the East Coast, Hull to York. The candidate could be based anywhere within a 30 minute reach of these areas.

The role would suit an individual who is looking to advance their career in engineering/IT and gain hands-on experience in a thriving and supportive workplace. Full training will be given on the product and industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnosing faults, making repairs and replacing modules on ATMs
  • Installation, maintenance, and repairs on equipment within an assigned territory to ensure continuity of customer operations and high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Take responsibility and ownership of customer problems or incidents until the situation has been resolved to the customers satisfaction and in compliance with their agreed Service Level Agreement

Candidate Requirements:

  • Able to work on your own with minimal supervision and to be able to manage your time effectively and pro-actively
  • Good level of mechanical / electrical aptitude
  • Experience preferred with Windows operating systems
  • Experience is preferred in break/fix, IT, computer/mechanical repair and basic computer hardware and software knowledge, however full training will be provided
  • Enjoys taking things apart and putting them back together
  • Have good problem-solving skills
  • Can work well under pressure
  • Full UK driving licence

Shifts:

  • 42.5 hours per week
  • 5 days working, 2 days off, with a day off either side of the weekend if working over the weekend.
  • Typical shift hours: 8am - 5pm, 9.30am - 6pm, 12pm - 9pm
