Our client is a leading provider within their industry and specialise in servicing and maintaining a wide range of printers. They are looking to recruit an experienced Field Service Engineer who has great customer service skills to join their dynamic team and become part of this great, innovative and professional organisation. The area that you will be looking after is anything from Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool and up to Scotland. The company are generous with expenses and hotels should you need to stay over. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining printers at various customer locations across the UK. If you have experience working within the field and are looking for a challenging role where you can apply your technical skills and provide exceptional customer service, then this could be the perfect role for you. The main duties will include: * Providing both remote and on-site technical support and troubleshooting for printer-related issues. * Conducting routine maintenance and servicing of printers to ensure optimal performance. * Collaborating with customers to identify their needs and offer appropriate solutions. * Installation, setup, and configuration of printers and software. * Keeping accurate records of repairs, maintenance tasks, and customer interactions. * Providing training and support to customers on printer operation and troubleshooting. Requirements: * Experience working as an an engineer in the field, ideally for printers though this is NOT essential as training will be provided to candidates with relevant technical expertise. * Ideally knowledge of printer components, functionality, and troubleshooting techniques though again, not essential * Proficient in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers effectively. * Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently while travelling to different locations. * A valid UK driving license.
