Our client provides complete solutions for their customers and has a great opportunity for someone to join their friendly team as a van driver and installer of ATMs within their customer estates. Working in a team of two, you will need to hold a full C driving licence.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Based within the Installations, Moves and Changes (IMAC) team, you will be responsible for the installation, removal, and relocation of hardware devices in branches and at remote customer sites as well as other building/construction projects, typically as part of a team within an assigned geographical area.
- You will support the day-to-day business carrying goods from the distribution centre all over Ireland but will be based in Dublin.
- You will be responsible for completing deliveries, assisting with loading and unloading the van, helping the installation team carry out basic skilled work, and being responsible for the safe deployment of goods to customer sites.
Candidate Requirements:
- Ideally, you will have similar experience within a driving role and are able to maintain concentration for long periods as you will be driving independently for the majority of the working day.
- This position will also involve the completion of delivery reports and keeping log books maintained; therefore, you will need to be articulate, have a good level of accuracy, and excellent customer service skills for dealing with clients.
- For this role, you are required to hold a full C driving licence and due to company insurance, you must be over the age of 25 and have held your licence for a minimum of 2 years with no more than 3 points.
- As you will be required to assist with loading and unloading, you will need to be able to lift up to 25kg with assistance and ensure that the goods are safely secured in transit.
Working Hours:
The working hours are 40 hours per week, and overtime is available. The start times are flexible, between 6am and 8am depending on location each day. Periodically, there will be times when you will be asked to work late shifts which go through the night to cover any installations that have to take place out of office hours. For these times, you will be paid at time and a half.
You will be working as part of a 2 person crew.
Benefits:
- This role has a subsistence payment. You can claim €39.08 per day if you are away from the depot for 10 hours or more, and if you are away from the depot for 5 hours or more you can claim €16.29.
