On behalf of our client, who are a great business to work within, we are looking for an experienced Field Manager to lead and develop a regional team of Field Service Engineers. Please note, this role is fully remote therefore the successful candidate can live anywhere within the UK. A generous car allowance is also offered.
As the Field Manager, you will be responsible for driving and delivering a high level of service, meeting SLAs and KPIs, and ensuring the engineers deliver a consistently high-quality customer experience. The role requires somebody with strong leadership skills along with hands-on operational oversight to ensure performance, compliance, and quality standards are met. Able to manage time effectively is also greatly important as you will be working within a fast-paced environment with ever changing challenges.
For this role, key responsibilities include:
- Responsible for the day-to-day operational performance for the region.
- Ensure SLAs, KPIs, and customer satisfaction targets are achieved.
- Lead and develop 10 – 14 Field Service Engineers, proactively managing workloads and resources.
- Resolve operational issues while escalating where necessary.
- Strive for a right-first-time approach to service delivery.
- Ensure compliance, overseeing of costs, assets and vehicles.
- Produce accurate management reporting.
- Meet with your team once per quarter to encourage positivity and encouraging team working.
Personal Specification required for this role:
- Proven experience in managing teams in a field-based or operational environment, with strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Comfortable working to demanding SLAs and KPIs.
- Have excellent communication and customer service skills, highly organised with a strong eye for detail.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Possesses strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
- Flexible, able to work on a rota which includes early and late shifts and also includes one weekend in 4.
- Full UK driving licence.
In addition to the salary, our client offers:
- Car allowance, £420 per month.
