We are looking for a reliable, practical and flexible Installation Engineer to install, remove and relocate ATMs and self-service machines across a designated geographical area.
Experience working with ATMs or self-service equipment would be ideal, but we are also keen to hear from candidates with experience in construction, carpentry, tiling, dry lining, brickwork, stud work or general installation work.
The Role:
- Install, remove and relocate ATMs and self-service machines
- Work in bank branches, remote customer sites and construction projects
- Carry out general installation and construction-related tasks such as tiling, carpentry and dry wall lining
- Safely move heavy equipment using mechanical aids and working as part of a team
- Work independently on some projects while supporting the wider installation team
- Liaise professionally with customers and resolve issues on site
- Manage your own time and resources effectively
- Work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends
- Stay away overnight when required; accommodation and expenses are fully covered
- The role is 40 hours per week, with regular overtime available. Overtime is paid at an enhanced rate. By taking advantage of available overtime, there is potential to earn around an additional £10,000 per year.
Person Specification:
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience in ATM/self-service installation, construction, maintenance or a practical trade
- Is confident using tools and carrying out hands-on work
- Has a professional, reliable and positive “can-do” attitude
- Is comfortable lifting/moving equipment weighing approximately 30kg
- Has good communication and teamwork skills
- Is flexible and willing to travel and stay away when required
- Holds a full UK driving licence – essential
- Has a CSCS card – desirable but not essential
