In this Head of Operations job opportunity, you will join the Senior Leadership team of a well-established, medium to large sign company based on the South coast of England. This new role is critical to the business's succession plan. Starting as the Head of Operations / Operations Director Designate, you will work closely with the current Operations Director and be groomed to take over their role, enabling the MD to step away from the day-to-day management of the business.

About this signage Head of Operations job:
This signage Head of Operations job opportunity is part of the company's succession planning, to enable the Founder / Managing Director to take more of a backseat in the day-to-day running of the business. Initially, you will join the senior leadership team and work closely with the current Operations Director and MD. Once fully embedded into the business, the incumbent Operations Director will take over from the Managing Director, and as the Head of Operations, you will take over the role of Operations Director.
Head of Operations job role & responsibilities:
- Providing strategic support to the Senior Leadership team, aiding the development and execution of the business’s strategy and decision making.
- Oversee and manage all operational functions of the business, including Projects, Estimating, Surveying, Production, Installation teams etc.
- Support, guide and mentor staff members, fostering a culture of collaboration and performance.
- Managing the direct reports / departmental managers, and supporting the departmental managers with areas such as team appraisals, disciplinary action, etc.
- Serve as the central point for information flow, ensuring the MD is well informed, and that strategic messages are effectively communicated to, and adopted by, all staff members.
About you:
