Recruiting a Business Development Manager for a Retail Design Consultancy specialising in creating brand experiences, from retail display, shop-in-shop, through to full interior fit-out. As the Business Development Manager, you'll operate with a high level of autonomy, working closely with the Senior Leadership team and Account Managers. You'll lead the full sales cycle, from prospecting to negotiating and closing contracts.

About this Business Development Manager job: As the Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for driving commercial growth and new client acquisition. You'll have autonomy and will work closely with the senior leadership team, account managers, and collaborate with the design and marketing teams.
Responsibilities will include:
- Create and maintain a strategic business development plan, outlining market sectors, client targets, outreach methodologies, and success metrics.
- Identify, pursue, and convert new client sales opportunities.
- Provide sales leadership with clear insights, data-driven recommendations, and commercially relevant observations.
- Maintain an active interest in retail environments, new materials, branded environment design, customer behaviour, and in-store marketing trends.
- Produce accurate sales forecasts and maintain CRM records.
About you: To be considered for this Business Development Manager's job, you'll need:
- A proven track record of successful business development within retail design, POS, shopfitting, experiential, or related industries.
- Experience with CRM Management; HubSpot would be advantageous.
- Sound understanding and a passion for retail design, manufacturing processes, materials, and production workflows.
- Capable of crafting tailored client proposals and commercially strong value propositions.
- Good analytical skills, proven negotiation experience, and structured approach to sales pipeline development.
