Job Title: Development Manager (.NET)
Location: Woking, Hybrid. (Minimum 2 days in office per week).
Salary: £60,000-£70,000 DOE
Reports to: CTO
Team Size (Approx.): 18-20
We are seeking a motivated and collaborative Development Manager to oversee and guide the delivery of high-quality .NET applications and solutions. In this role, you will work closely with developers, testers, product managers, and project managers, using agile methodologies and industry-standard processes to deliver products that meet customer requirements. This role is weighted to the managerial side however you will be expected to complete and oversee hands on tasks where necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of .NET applications across platforms.
- Manage and mentor a team of developers, setting and grading quarterly objectives.
- Define development processes, tools, and techniques to ensure efficient delivery.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope and deliverables.
- Ensure the timely completion of milestones and manage project risks.
- Drive continuous improvement in development practices and automation tools.
- Ensure high standards of software quality and maintain consistency across teams.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Minimum 7 years in application development and 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong experience in .NET (C#, VB.NET) and team management within a technical delivery environment.
- Proven ability to oversee software design, development, and implementation.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, project management principles, and application security.
- Experience in the fintech or payments industry is a plus.
