We are seeking an experienced and motivated Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team, specialising in both installation and service work across a variety of AC systems. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality installation, maintenance, and repair services to commercial and residential clients throughout South Yorkshire and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, service, and maintain a wide range of air conditioning systems, including VRV/VRF and split systems.
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs in a timely manner.
- Conduct routine planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company requirements.
- Liaise with customers professionally, providing clear explanations and excellent service.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including service reports and job sheets.
- Travel to multiple client sites across South Yorkshire and occasionally further afield.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- FGas Category 1 certification (essential).
- Proven experience working on VRV, VRF, and split-type systems.
- Strong diagnostic, fault-finding, and problem-solving skills.
- Full, valid UK driving licence.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a professional approach.
Desirable
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or equivalent.
- Experience working in commercial environments.
- Knowledge of other HVAC systems.
