Responsibilities

  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine the necessary materials and methods for fitting tasks.
  • Fit kitchen fixtures.
  • Build frameworks and structures as required, adhering to safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Carry out painting duties to finish surfaces as needed.
  • Engage in masonry work, constructing walls or other structures using bricks or stone.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, reporting any issues promptly.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Fitter or in a similar role within the construction or manufacturing industry.
  • Carpentry background is a must.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Strong skills in plumb, plaster, build, roof, fabricate, weld, paint, and masonry techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
  • A valid driving licence may be advantageous but is not essential.
  • Basic DBS certificate is a must.
