Pyramid Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for ongoing ad hoc agency bookings with a leading transport operation specialising in temperature-controlled deliveries.

Responsibilities:

  • Safe and professional operation of Class 1 refrigerated vehicles
  • Completing temperature-controlled deliveries to RDCs, distribution centres, and customer locations
  • Conducting daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
  • Monitoring and maintaining temperature compliance throughout deliveries
  • Ensuring compliance with Drivers' Hours, Working Time Directive, and company procedures
  • Completing all relevant paperwork and POD documentation accurately

Requirements:

  • Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence
  • Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
  • Digital Tachograph Card
  • Experience with refrigerated or temperature-controlled transport is advantageous but not essential
  • Good understanding of driver hours and road transport legislation
