Carpenter Required
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in carpentry and be adept at various construction tasks.
This role requires a hands-on individual who can work independently and as part of a team, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Duties
- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and wallboard.
- Cutting in roofs, dormers
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to assemble and finish products.
- Carry out painting and finishing work as required to enhance the appearance of completed projects.
- Engage in masonry work for structural support where necessary.
- Conduct heavy lifting as needed for transporting materials and equipment on-site.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, including electricians, to ensure comprehensive project completion.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Carpenter with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in using various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Experience in joinery, painting, masonry, and electrical work is highly desirable.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.
