About the Role
We are looking for a Cloud DevOps Specialist to join our Infrastructure Team, responsible for managing and enhancing our hybrid cloud and datacentre environments. The team supports networks, IT security, cloud platforms, and end-user technologies, delivering reliable solutions in an Agile environment. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Product Owners, Infrastructure Leads, and subject matter experts to provision and manage secure, scalable cloud platforms aligned with our National Technology strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and manage Azure cloud platforms for applications and services
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM templates, and PowerShell
- Manage Azure networking and connectivity in collaboration with networking teams
- Support development teams with cloud-native solution design and deployment
- Ensure governance, security, and compliance with Cyber Essentials+, ISO 27001, NIST, SOC2
- Maintain documentation, repositories, and DevOps best practices
- Mentor and guide team members on cloud and DevOps practices
Essential Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Infrastructure (compute, storage, networking)
- Proven expertise in Terraform, ARM templates, and PowerShell
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Understanding of security and compliance in hybrid cloud environments
Desirable Skills
- Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-400
- Experience with AVD/WVD, Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, Databricks, Logic Apps
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
- Exposure to AWS/GCP and multi-cloud strategies
- Office 365 administration experience
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban)
Work Model
