Reporting to the Senior Manager – Cloud and Data Center the post holder will provide day-to-day technical resolution of incidents, service requests and project work to ensure quality, productivity, and availability objectives are met., * Suggesting best practices and take a more pro-active approach to ensure that the Cloud and Hosting services are continually improving and are maintained to a high standard through reactive support activities and proactive maintenance (eg, obsolescence, new standards, housekeeping)

Assist with security architecture and monitoring of all Cloud and Hosting implementations

Interface with Serco Security Team for changes in Security related aspects of Cloud and Hosting implementations

Perform quarterly and annual health checks on all Cloud and Hosting implementations to include alignment to vendor best practice and future roadmap

Management of Risks and vulnerabilities

Work with 3rd party and resolve any defects

Participate in any Infrastructure transformational workshops with Serco

In depth understanding of the services, we are contracted to provide support on the contract deliverables.

To adhere to technical and quality standards for all team activities including client specific change control procedures

Liaise with the appropriate Client Services Manager to ensure issues and problems that require recovery action are taken appropriately.

The role in support of Cloud based Windows Infrastructure and therefore an ability to work with Windows and Azure is essential

Must have experience in the following areas:
Strong cloud platform management (Azure)

DevOps/ARM deployment

Virtual Server management throughout life cycle

NSG management

Automation

PaaS Management
In depth knowledge and problem-solving experience of Windows server 2012/16/19 technologies
Scripting experience (PowerShell, JSON)
Certification in Azure technologies (Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect)
Commercial knowledge – project requirements, estimating and contractual awareness.
To be able to demonstrate experience in service delivery to clients in full scope of Cloud infrastructure
