PYRA Construction is currently recruiting experienced Fire Door Joiners for a long-term social housing contract in Brighton. The project will involve travelling between occupied and unoccupied properties to complete fire door installations and remedial works. All completed work must be recorded accurately through a mobile application similar to OneTrace. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced fire door joiners looking for consistent, long-term work on an established social housing contract.

Main duties will include:

  • Installing fire doors and complete fire door sets
  • Completing remedial works to existing fire doors
  • Carrying out adjustments and upgrades to ensure compliance
  • Installing and replacing ironmongery, seals and associated components
  • Working across multiple social housing properties
  • Recording completed works and uploading photographs through a mobile app
  • Ensuring all work is completed to the required fire safety standards
  • Maintaining a professional and respectful approach when working in occupied properties

Applicants must have:

  • A valid CSCS card
  • Proven fire door installation and remedial experience
  • Their own tools
  • Their own reliable transport
  • The ability to travel between properties throughout the working day
  • Good knowledge of fire door components and installation requirements
  • The ability to use a mobile app to log works and upload evidence
  • A professional attitude and high standard of workmanship

Previous experience working on social housing contracts would be a strong advantage.
