Pyou Spain, an international recruitment agency, is partnering with a prestigious Spanish premium footwear brand to recruit an enthusiastic and customer-focused Assistant Store Manager for its London boutique. The brand is internationally recognised for its handcrafted leather footwear, combining style, comfort, and durability.
This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced retail professional who is ready to take the next step into management, balancing hands-on sales with team leadership and operational support.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Store Manager in the daily management of the store, ensuring sales targets and KPIs are achieved and exceeded.
- Actively sell on the shop floor, delivering an outstanding customer experience and building long-term client relationships.
- Monitor store performance and assist in implementing action plans to improve results when necessary.
- Support the training, motivation, and development of the store team, maintaining high standards of service and product knowledge.
- Ensure excellent visual merchandising and operational standards, consistently reflecting the brand’s identity.
- Assist with day-to-day store operations, including stock management, reporting, and coordination with Head Office.
- Take responsibility for the store in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Previous retail experience, ideally within the premium or luxury retail sector.
- Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous supervisory or team-leading experience (e.g. Senior Sales Assistant or Keyholder) is highly desirable.
- Organised, proactive, and comfortable taking responsibility.
- A hands-on, positive, and customer-focused approach.
