Senior Flutter Engineer in London

The Role

As a Senior Flutter Engineer at Pynea, you will play a vital role in shaping and building our modern, collaborative, professional social network. You will lead the development of our cross-platform social networking application and will be responsible for designing and implementing the user interface and experience, ensuring a seamless and intuitive experience for our users. You will work closely with our CTO and product teams to translate their vision into a functional and visually stunning application.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement the user interface and user experience of our professional social networking application using Flutter framework

• Develop cross-platform mobile applications using a single codebase for Android and iOS devices.

• Collaborate with product and design teams to translate their vision into a functional and visually appealing application

• Write clean, maintainable, efficient and well-documented code

• Perform time profiling and memory leak assessments to ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application

• Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks

• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

• Mentor and guide junior developers in the team

Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field

• 5+ years of experience in mobile application development, with at least 3 years of experience in Flutter development

• Have developed two or more iOS/Android apps using Flutter.

• Strong knowledge of Dart, the Flutter framework and its core principles

• Experience with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and integration with backend services

• Experience with version control systems such as Git

• Experience with Agile development methodologies

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
