Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and efficient backend services using Node.js and Fastify framework.

• Integrate and work with graph databases such as Neo4J, TigerGraph, or similar technologies to store, manage, and query complex data.

• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.

• Implement and maintain robust testing, monitoring, and logging systems.

• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve overall code quality.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications remain current and competitive.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Backend Node Engineer, with a strong focus on Node.js and Fastify framework.

• Expertise in working with graph databases such as Neo4J, TigerGraph, or similar technologies.

• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development.

• Proficient in JavaScript (ES6+) and familiarity with modern JavaScript libraries and frameworks.

• Familiarity with containerisation technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Experience with version control systems, such as Git.

• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
