We are looking for a member of our team - teaching assistant 20 hrs. Our children are kind, well behaved, thirsty for knowledge and committed to their learning. Our carefully designed and ambitious knowledge engaged curriculum supports all children to achieve high standards and to progress successfully to the next stage in their education. We have a highly skilled and settled team of dedicated and committed staff.
Pye Green Academy is proud to be a part of the Greenheart Learning Partnership (GLP). We work closely with our fellow trust schools, sharing expertise, experience, CPD and providing further opportunities for staff development and progression. We also work closely with local universities for initial teacher training and engage fully with research opportunities.

What We’re Looking For:- A caring, patient and enthusiastic individual, committed to supporting pupils’ learning, development and wellbeing, and able to build positive relationships that promote confidence, inclusion and self-esteem.
- Experience of working with children, ideally across a range of abilities, with the ability to support engaging, age-appropriate learning activities that motivate and encourage participation.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively alongside teachers and other staff, remaining calm and positive in a busy classroom environment.
- A clear commitment to safeguarding, health and safety, and positive behaviour management, with an understanding of how to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND.
- Well organised, reliable and flexible, with good literacy and numeracy skills and the ability to support a structured, safe and inclusive learning environment.
