Vehicle MET Technician
Salary: £21.00 - £23.00 per hour (£54,600 - £59,800 OTE) depending on experience and qualifications, with a salary review upon successful completion of probation.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm, plus 1 in 2 Saturdays, 8:00am - 12:00pm (subject to business needs).
About the Role
Pybus Recruitment is partnering with a leading and rapidly expanding accident repair group to recruit an experienced Vehicle MET Technician for their busy repair centre in the York area.

The successful candidate will play a key role in restoring damaged vehicles to manufacturer standards, ensuring all mechanical, electrical, and trim repairs are completed efficiently and to the highest quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out mechanical and electrical repairs to a high standard.
- Strip and refit vehicle components as part of the repair process.
- Replace mechanical parts and assemblies as required.
- Work on both conventional and electric vehicles.
- Diagnose and repair ADAS-related components where necessary.
- Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and safety requirements.
- Conduct quality checks on completed work.
- Maintain tools and equipment in a safe and serviceable condition.
