Our client is a leading UK accident repair group, operating 38 state‑of‑the‑art repair centres nationwide. Through a strategic partnership with IRS (Intelligent Repair Services)—Europe’s largest accident claims provider—they offer industry‑leading training, development opportunities, and employee packages.
They are now looking for a skilled Panel Beater to join their Wakefield Accident Repair Centre as they continue to build the next generation of repair facilities, driven by quality, service, and customer focus.
The Role
As a Panel Beater, you will be responsible for repairing accident‑damaged vehicles to manufacturer and insurer standards. Working in a modern, clean, and fast‑paced environment, you will take pride in delivering high‑quality workmanship while supporting a collaborative, high‑performing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out panel repairs and replacements to the highest standard
- Confidently perform MET work, including rebuilding doors and fitting front panels
- Weld and bond replacement panels using approved methods
- Apply fillers and sealants to prepare vehicles for painting
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace
- Use tools and equipment safely and maintain them to a high standard
- Follow all health, safety, and PPE requirements
- Adhere to company procedures and policies
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Panel Beater in an accident repair environment
- Confidence repairing Hybrid and EV vehicles
- Strong all‑round knowledge of vehicle repair processes
- Self‑motivated, organised, and detail‑focused
- A team player with a positive, professional attitude
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
