Role is working Monday to Friday and normal daytime hours (no weekends).

They are now looking for a Bodyshop Workshop Controller for their Accident Repair Bodyshop in Romford.

As Bodyshop Workshop Controller, you will:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bodyshop workshop, ensuring maximum efficiency and productivity.
  • Lead and mentor a team of technicians, fostering a positive and professional work environment.
  • Maintain high standards of quality and safety in all repair processes.
  • Ensure jobs are completed on time and to the satisfaction of our customers.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to drive performance and meet business targets.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a similar bodyshop workshop management or supervisory role.
  • Experience working in the automotive accident repair industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of automotive repairs and diagnostics.
  • Exceptional organizational and leadership skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining high-quality standards.

You must be able to:

  • Plan your workload effectively to ensure vehicles are ready to agreed timescale.
  • Work skillfully and safely under pressure.
  • Carry out work in accordance with manufacturers' specifications.
  • Work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative with minimal supervision.
