This is an exceptional opportunity to lead a well-established, high-performing dealership operation that has experienced significant growth and success in recent years. The business has built a strong reputation for customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and commercial performance across both retail and commercial vehicle sectors.

Employing approximately 45 colleagues, the dealership continues to demonstrate strong financial and customer-focused results, with considerable opportunity for further growth and development.

We are seeking an exceptional leader who can drive performance across all departments whilst maintaining the highest standards of customer experience. You will be commercially astute, people-focused, and capable of inspiring teams to deliver outstanding results.

The Role

As Head of Business, you will be accountable for the overall performance of the dealership, including:

• Leading and developing high-performing teams across all departments
• Driving financial performance, profitability, cost control, and operational excellence
• Building and maintaining strong manufacturer and stakeholder relationships
• Ensuring compliance with all company policies, industry standards, and legislation
• Creating a safe, professional environment where colleague and customer wellbeing is prioritised
• Delivering exceptional customer satisfaction and long-term customer loyalty
• Developing strategic plans to maximise market share and business growth

You will lead by example, fostering a culture where customer satisfaction, integrity, and operational excellence remain at the centre of every decision.

About You

We are looking for an experienced automotive leader who can demonstrate:

• A proven track record as a General Manager within the automotive retail sector
• Strong new and used vehicle sales leadership experience
• Commercial acumen with the ability to deliver sustainable profitability
• Experience managing aftersales and operational performance
• Outstanding leadership and people development skills
• A customer-centric approach focused on long-term business success
• High levels of integrity, professionalism, and accountability

You will play a key role in promoting a culture where customers are treated fairly, colleagues are supported and developed, and business decisions are made with integrity and transparency.
