We are currently recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a state-of-the-art workshop in Kelso. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established automotive business offering strong earning potential, structured training, and a great work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs to a high standard
  • Diagnose faults using modern diagnostic equipment
  • Complete work orders accurately, including labour and parts used
  • Conduct vehicle health checks and identify additional work requirements
  • Perform repairs in line with manufacturer guidelines
  • Prepare new and used vehicles for handover
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
  • Liaise with workshop control regarding additional work or delays

About You

  • Fully qualified Vehicle Technician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred)
  • Previous experience in a main dealer or busy workshop environment
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence
