Location: Houghton-Le-Spring

Salary: From £35,500 Basic + Bonus

Hours: Full-Time, Permanent | 45 Hours per Week Includes 1 in 3 Saturday mornings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete work orders, including details of repairs, parts, and labour.
  • Carry out diagnostics and provide accurate reports.
  • Perform routine servicing and technical repairs to manufacturer standards.
  • Interpret technical data and follow manufacturer guidelines.
  • Conduct vehicle health checks and identify additional work.
  • Prepare new and Approved Used vehicles.
  • Record all work carried out, including time and materials used.
  • Ensure all vehicles meet safety and cleanliness standards before return.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician (essential).
  • Full and valid UK driving licence (essential).
  • Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills.
  • Experience in a dealership or workshop environment preferred.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
