We are recruiting a Technical Support Specialist on behalf of a fast‑growing international automotive manufacturer in the UK. This role is ideal for an experienced automotive technical professional who enjoys problem‑solving, dealer support and working with new vehicle technologies in a growing brand environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and resolve complex technical cases via the manufacturer’s technical support system
  • Provide on‑site technical assistance to the UK dealer network
  • Prioritise and manage multiple open cases simultaneously
  • Escalate unresolved issues to engineering teams and drive timely resolutions
  • Support Quality, Customer Experience and Warranty teams on technical matters
  • Review technical documentation from HQ and ensure UK market applicability
  • Create and deliver technical training, presentations and dealer seminars
  • Develop and update technical bulletins, troubleshooting guides and training materials

About You

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in automotive technical support or diagnostics
  • Technical or engineering qualification (Master Technician or equivalent experience considered)
  • Strong fault‑finding and diagnostics capability
  • Confident using diagnostic tools and engineering logging systems
  • Experience with hybrid and EV systems highly desirable
  • Able to interpret electrical diagrams and engineering drawings
  • Customer‑focused, organised and able to influence at all levels
  • Willing to travel UK‑wide, including overnight stays
  • Full UK driving licence
