About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail‑driven Retail Marketing Assistant to support the delivery of retail marketing activity across our UK retail network. This role is ideal for someone at an early stage of their marketing career who is eager to learn, support campaign execution, and develop within one of the fastest‑growing automotive companies in the UK.
You will play a key role in supporting marketing campaigns, managing content and assets, ensuring brand compliance, assisting with reporting, and providing day‑to‑day support to retail partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Coordination & Delivery
- Assist with planning and executing retail and tactical marketing campaigns, including product launches, seasonal activity, and quarterly promotions.
- Adapt national marketing campaigns for local retailer use, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
- Support dealer launch events, test drive campaigns, and showroom marketing activity.
- Act as a key point of contact for retailers regarding marketing assets, campaign support, and queries.
- Provide guidance on basic media planning and local marketing activity.
- Support delivery of training and campaign updates via guides, emails, webinars, and tools.
- Assist with distribution and management of POS materials, signage, digital assets, and localised creative.
- Support brand compliance checks and digital audits across the retail network.
- Track campaign KPIs including leads, engagement, and activity levels.
- Assist in preparing performance reports and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Support invoice processing, budget tracking, and general administration.
- Coordinate with external suppliers and agencies to ensure timely delivery of assets.
- Work closely with marketing, product, and digital teams to ensure consistency with wider brand strategy.
Skills & Experience
- 1–2+ years’ experience in marketing (placement year acceptable).
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Confident written and verbal communicator.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing channels (social, paid media, CRM, events).
- Ability to work accurately within brand guidelines.
- Competent in Microsoft Office.
- Automotive, retail, franchise, or agency experience.
- Exposure to analytics/reporting tools (Google Analytics, CRM, dashboards).
