Job Description
Pybus Recruitment is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing automotive service, repair and MOT provider with centres located across the UK.
We are looking for experienced Vehicle Technicians to join a busy and professional workshop team.
Candidates with either a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification will be considered, provided they have relevant workshop experience and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and customer service.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technician who enjoys a varied role, from servicing and routine maintenance through to more advanced mechanical repairs including clutches and cambelts.
The Role
As a Vehicle Technician, your responsibilities will include
- Vehicle servicing and routine maintenance
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults
- Carrying out repairs including clutches, cambelts and other major components
- Completing work to manufacturer and company standards
- Conducting vehicle health checks and reporting additional work requirements
- Delivering excellent customer service and clear communication
- Working effectively as part of a busy workshop team
- Working Hours
- 45-hour contract
- Monday to Saturday
- Sundays off plus one day off during the week
- Some sites operate on a 1 in 2 Saturday rota
- Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 5:30pm

- NVQ/IMI Level 2 or Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Service Technician or Motor Mechanic
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workshop environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Uncapped bonus potential with average OTE of approximately £6,000
